It’s tough going on holiday… Well it can be tough on your exercise routine at least, and with Cape Town offering so much in the way of culinary delights, you need to keep an eye on your waistline.
Luckily there are multitudes of ways to keep fit in Cape Town and we are here to give you some great “keep fit” ideas while you indulge in all that the fair Cape has to offer.
If you are all about the power then AWOL is just the thing for you, this outdoor workout will get you breathing in the clean, fresh sea air and working up a sweat.
So if it’s a challenging cardio workout that you are after this is just the thing for you – Think running in glen Forrest and doing push-ups on CampsBay beach, this routine might just see you home more fit than when you first arrived.
However if all the running and endurance training is a bit much for you, you should consider signing up for a couple of classes at Hot Dog, you won’t be doing any eating or cooking but you will be sweating.
Hot Dog yoga is a yoga studio based in Sea Point (a stone throw away from Camps Bay). Hot Dog offers various yoga styles in the tranquil setting of their beautiful studio.
If you don’t feel like sticking to a schedule you could always enjoy a jog or brisk walk on the Promenade or swim a couple of lengths in the Sea Point pavilion’s Olympic sized swimming pool.
