Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The apartment and the location are breathtakingly beautiful! The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We can recommend this accommodation and would want to stay there again.

Our 3 rd time & beautiful location . Check in ,cleaning etc was all good ,however in the first 2 hours of check in we reported a defective gas braai,leaking dishwasher & sliding door off rails.
This was acknowledged and the lady needed to speak to superior for authority to fix (same defects I had on a previous visit) ,regrettable I checked out 5 days later with no further follow communication from Nox and not on one of the items was there even an attempt to fix or replace.

Clifton 4th is a great place to stay. The bungalow is near the top so you don’t have all the steps to walk up and down to it which you have at many of the properties there. Close enough to the beach but far enough away from the noise of busy weekend sunbathers

The house has a wonderful view on the ocean, access to the beach and everything you need. Close to Camps Bay, additional beaches and various great restaurants are nearby. Daily housekeeping is a great service. A great place with a fair price.

Superbly located on Clifton 4th beach this is the ideal bunglow for a relaxing beach holiday in Cape Town. Well equipped with comfortable furnishings there is plenty of space for a family of 6. We enjoyed being able to have direct access to the beach as well as close access to the shops and resturants in Camps Bay.

The location of this beach cottage is excellent only a few steps down from the Victoria Road and a very short walk from Clifton 4th Beach which is arguably one of the most beautiful beach in South Africa. The view from the upper level of the beach cottage were excellent. The cottage lacks a little finesse, it is clearly two units that are connected via a spiral staircase. Certain aspects of the cottage are rather tired and could do with a bit of an upgrade. It desperately needs a new dish washer, kitchen was a bit scrappy and the sofa in the lounge has seen better days. The services provided by Nox was excellent and all of the staff were very helpful.

The Bungalow is everything you see in the pictures and so much more. It was very spacious for our family of five and afforded us plenty of room. The views are 10x better than the pictures could ever convey. The sun sets right out the back of the bungalow for some truly amazing scenes and the view even during the day is just amazing. The location is great as it is out of the city central but walking distance in Camps Bay with stores and restaurants available. We had a wonderful experience.

The view

While getting the keys and access was easy. Main room is nice and comfortable the premises need an overhaul. It is run down and tired. Plates are chipped, sealants around bath and sinks are crumbling, cupboards need repair, cushions are stained, DSTV did not work, no access to Netflix, or any internet based tv. Wifi is unreliable. Gas braai is shocking, does not work properly and is dangerous. No one bothered to check it before we got there and no one came to sort it when we reported it. The one major thing that is amazing is the view and that is the one thing that can’t be controlled. For the money and the fact that this is supposed to be a upmarket property, we were extremely disappointed.

Good experience overall. Great location which makes the experience. It's close enough to the top road you feel quite safe coming and going. We tipped the parking guys regularly to keep an extra on eye on things plus they can help bring your luggage down. This is quality rental but not a luxury one. The price is commensurate with what you can expect there. It's not a personalised home so much as a pretty basic and stripped down vacation house. But it worked well for us and we'd stay there again. The check-in with Peter was excellent and very professional. And the daily maid service provided by Dorothy also very good.

Nox were very helpful and attended to any query immediately .
The location of the bungalow was perfect however it could do with updating in areas and attention to smaller details . We found the furnishings to be grubby and tired , both indoor and outdoor . The kitchen is very under stocked and basic . All doors and curtain hooks etc require more regular maintenance .
Our stay however was amazing and Nox were very professional , helpful , friendly and on hand at all times .

It’s a home with a great view, might even say spectacular. It’s location is ideal as it sits between two communities with restaurants, shopping, etc.

There is an ant issue that needs to be rectified (throughout the main floor, on the kitchen counter, on the floor, etc.) and the home needs some TLC. The furniture is worn, broken and stained in some spots and it just gives you a feeling of an owner that only cares about the $$ and not about their guests.

I enjoyed our stay in Cape Town, but I wouldn’t rent the home again.

It was very misleading to be shown a place that had no parking except on a very busy street, when you've ticked the 'free parking on premises" filter.

Nox has a few properties that can't all accurately be viewed as superhost because they aren't all the same level

This property had a few maintenance and cleanliness issues....

Tumble Dryer - a load of wet towels were left in there on our arrival

Nice view of the beach and ocean and a nice building to stay in, however, the access to the building is difficult for travellers with heavy bags, there are a lot of stairs which are very narrow and uneven so you can easily trip. Was a whole workout getting our bags from the road to the building.
During our stay we didn’t have water for a day which was very inconvenient and there was no compensation for that.
Overall, we enjoyed the view and airy building but our experience there could have been better

Angela We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in the property and the amazing views over Clifton 4th beach. I do hope that your host was able to assist you with your bags and getting you settled in to the property. Unfortunately the stairs and pathway to the beach are public property and as such we can not do any work to them. With regard to the water loss, it was unfortunate that you experienced this. The issue was caused by the main water pipe into Clifton bursting and the entire neighbourhood being without water. We always put our hands up if guests experience an issue due to the property or the service received. I don't believe this was the case in this instance as it was neither predictable or avoidable. Comfortable cottage, with everything that is needed for basic cooking and living. Upper area (living area, main bedroom, deck) has pretty views of the ocean and lion’s head; we also liked the vicinity to Camps Bay and the ability to walk there for coffee. The 2 other bedrooms are downstairs and do not have a view, although they have a convenient kitchenette down there so great for older kids / adult parties traveling together.

Position is outstanding!! Easy walk down onto the beach. Incredible views.
Comfortable and easy space to live in. A spiral staircase is quite steep.
Only issues we had - no hot water in the shower downstairs.

Perfect location for the best beach in Cape Town. No worries about having to pack all you need in the car, find parking and then trek everything down to the beach because you are right there. Get down to the beach and forgot something, no worries, just walk 400 meters back to your house and grab it. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and walking distance to Camps Bay and amazing nightlife. Perfect!

Tamara's place is truly spectacular! There are beautiful views of the beach and mountain and even though the bungalow is close to the road, it is quiet and private!
We visited in the off-season, so had no problems getting parking (I imagine that during the summer months this could be an issue). Direct access to the beach is so special!
We were a family of four and had ample space (the kids had a separate floor to themselves) - nobody felt crowded.
The living space is extremely comfortable and functional, but the deck overlooking the beach is spectacular.
The walk down to the beach is steep, but access to the road is easy.
I will definitely return to this wonderful accomodation!

The place is beautiful. The view is gorgeous. It is a true gem. You can walk down some stairs to the beach, or sit out on the deck and watch the sun set over the water. We had some issues with the plumbing but they were resolved relatively quickly.

the place was more then we expected,inspite of very stormy 24 hrs our overall stay was excellent,well maintained, clean,equipped with everything you need.
Few little thing , noice level in master bedroom because of wind at night can be disturbing, lot of light comming from the street lamp into the master bedroom should be blocked for a happier sleep .Front door of house has a sticky (Website hidden by Airbnb) heating in the downstairs bedrooms ,but they were nice to provide portable heaters, Nox rentals maintain the place well, check in and out were very smooth too. Highly recomend

Our stay was incredible. This home has an amazing location. The beach is just steps away, and has incredible panoramic views. It was a wonderful place to unwind. The amenities offered go above and beyond any other AirBnB I have stayed at. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we had issues with the internet during our stay, but the Nox team went out of their way to try and fix it for us. Eventually they even brought us a wireless HotSpot when the issue couldn't be resolved. The daily housekeeping was so nice. Our housekeeper was so friendly and always did a diligent job. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay with Nox. I would highly encourage other travelers to stay here.

We booked an apt on Kloof, then ended our trip with this bungalow. I highly recommend this bungalow. The place has an amazing view of the beach and is just a short walk to Camps Bay.

Nox Rentals also helped us from beginning to end of our stay in the bungalow. They allowed us to drop off our bags in their office before check-in. They also transported our bags to the bungalow so we didn't have to carry it. Checking out they allowed us to leave our bags (they brought it to their office to hold onto) while we took a day trip to Cape Point.

I am a South African who lives in Canada, but I know Cape Town and Clifton very well. I stayed here for 4 nights with my brother, sister-in-law and their 2 kids in April 2017 and we had wonderful time. It worked really well, since my brother and his family stayed in the bottom part of the bungalow (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) while I stayed on the main floor. There was more than enough space for everyone. The bungalow has a superb location, on Clifton's Fourth Beach, where some of the most exclusive and expensive real estate in South Africa is located. The bungalow is just below Victoria Drive, but it is quiet, since it faces the ocean, it has amazing views of Fourth Beach with spectacular sunsets. The beach is a short walk down some steep steps. The cottage itself is beautiful, light and bright with a lot of space, and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. We totally loved the place and space. Communicating with Nox Rentals was super easy and checking in/out was effortless. I thought this bungalow was very good value for money, given the location and the quality of the bungalow itself. I can highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay here again when I am in Cape Town.

Bungulow on 4 has a breathtaking view and is all it is made out to be!! We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the dinning in Camps bay a short drive or nice walk away for this young at heart! The units access to beach is a steep staircase not to onerous but not for those with any walking impediment. Access to unit is reached by a much shorter less onerous staircase. Parking is on the street.. so driving using uber could be a good choice. House is beautifully appointed and daily cleaning service keeps it exceptionally clean. Definitely recommended for a few days break in an idyllic setting.

Stunning house. Great basics to help us settle. Stunning views. A little hard to find but its good to know its number its right near the road only a few steps down, so don't climb the steps down to the beach with your bags like we did! Gorgeous spacious setup and funky decor. We are definitely going to come back!!

Fantastic location and beautiful home. Tamara left wine and delicious treats for us to enjoy which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this property. It was a most enjoyable few day.
