Wir wurden herzlich Willkommen geheissen und herumgeführt, die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, auch wenn hier und da mal ein Stuhl oder ein Türgriff gewackelt hat oder ähnliches. Die Unterkunft ist gigantisch. Täglich wird aufgeräumt und geputzt, man hat eher das Gefühl in einem Hotel zu wohnen. Die Aussicht aus den Schlafzimmern ist der Wahnsinn. Dank Uber kommt man überall schnell, sicher und günstig hin. Bei Fragen war das Team stets hilfsbereit und hat schnell reagiert, vielen Dank.

Great place right in Camps Bay, easy walk down the hill to the strip + beach. Well decorated, convenient delivery service. Not a lot of tools in the kitchen but we didn’t cook so we didn’t care. Helpful rental team, plenty of towels, vacation guidebook, real king beds, USB outlets, converters, two living rooms, gorgeous views from every window. Garage kept the car safe, helpful maid service we didn’t expect. Laundry to use. Pool is separate from the sun deck, and you walk through the bedrooms to get to said deck. WiFi was reliable and loadshedding backup worked seamlessly. The team was accommodating with odd requests and responsive when we had questions. Friendly & helpful. It felt luxurious, I wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a brilliant stay. Check in was seamless, the NOX team were on hand to tell us everything we needed to know and answer our questions. Housekeeping did a fantastic job daily and everything was very clean. The location is absolutely perfect to stroll into Camps Bay and Uber’s are very easy to obtain for longer trips. The stand out feature is the beautiful terrace with 360 degree views of the ocean, Table Mountain, Lions Head and beyond. Would highly recommend!

Ross’ place was a delight to stay in. The rooms were gorgeous and it was clean and tidy and in a great area. Lots of little touches means the place feels really special.
We had a small issue with the water but Ross couldn’t have been more helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!

Tolles Haus an super guter und sicherer Lage. Ross ist ein guter Gastgeber, wohnt nebendran und hat sich um alles rasch gekümert.
Das Einzige was wir etwas schade fanden ist, dass das Haus nicht so gepflegt ist. Überall sind Dinge abgenutzt, funktionieren nicht oder fallen auseinander. Aber das ist wohl in Südafrika ein generelles „Problem“ - wir sind uns das einfach nicht gewohnt.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und extrem geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und jedes Zimmer hat ein zugehöriges Bad. Ross war immer erreichbar und gab uns auch Bescheid, wenn Handwerker ins Haus kommen mussten, um den Lift zu reparieren.
Für Leute, die gerne im Haus verweilen möchten und auch mal selber kochen wollen: es gibt leider nicht mal Salz, Pfeffer oder etwas Öl. Man muss wirklich alles selber einkaufen, was ein bisschen unpraktisch ist, wenn man nur ein paar Tage bleibt. Es wäre zuvorkommend gewesen, wenn die Küche mit ein paar Sachen eingerichtet wäre, damit man sich zumindest ein kleines Frühstück machen konnte.
Eine Haushaltshilfe hat täglich die Zimmer gemacht und auf Anfrage auch die Wäsche - das war sehr toll und wir haben ihr dafür ein kleines Trinkgeld gegeben.
Die Terrasse und der Pool sind leider nicht sehr einladend, daraus könnte man mehr machen. Der Weg zur Haustüre ist am Abend leider nicht beleuchtet, man sieht fast nichts. Sonst top! Danke!

The house was gorgeous, I brought 4 friends from the UK who had never visited South Africa before and it exceeded their expectations. It was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed, including beautiful views from the balcony. It’s a good walking distance down to the main road where there are multiple bars and restaurants, local shops and, of course, the beach.
Ross is a brilliant host, very responsive, friendly and easy to get hold of - after a series of unfortunate events which were totally out of his control, including a loss of water in the area for an extended amount of time, he went above and beyond to ensure we could get showered before a long flight back home.
Will definitely look to staying again at my next visit home.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Ross’ apartment which was perfect for a family of 6 and a toddler.
Check in was super easy and the location was to die for. We had the most amazing view of the sunset of camps bay!
We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. Only minor niggle is that the rooftop deck is damaged in places which makes it a little unsafe for a toddler but other than that, 10/10!

Thanks for the review, Michel and I wish I could have done more to mitigate the power cuts. Unfortunately, these only started to become a major problem in December and due to the calendar already being booked, the first availability to install solar was 1 March. Once this is in place it will eliminate the problem.

Our Stay at Ross house was great. He is such a nice and helpful host. He made us feel very comfortable. This property is in an excellent location in Camps Bay with easy walking access to beaches, shops and restaurants. It is also very easy to drive to and access other areas of Cape Town and the peninsula. The sea and mountain views are unsurpassed and watching the sun set over the sea from the top terrace is wonderful. Ross was always available if needed as lives in the adjacent house and very quickly sorted out a few minor requests we made on the first day. He communicated well. The house was presented to a high standard and the housekeeper was great in maintaining the property and along with Ross demonstrated great flexibility in when the housekeeper attended to suit our own schedule. In reality, the property is more spacious then depicted in the photos. We were a party of five people and there are excellent communal areas but also enough room for personal space. The swimming pool is a good size and adjacent terrace is great for outdoor living and is very protected if it is windy. Having a lift from the garage to the property is an added bonus, especially as my elderly parents were in our party. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again in the future.

Amazing house in perfect location, very accurate in relation to description.
Just note that the host stays in the unit next to/underneath the house and didn’t have any respect of privacy and would walk in the house for maintenance without any warning aswell as constant calls and appearances to keep the noise down when our group was being completely reasonable in relation to the house rules. This completely ruins the “home away from home” feel an airbnb such as this is supposed to be and especially for the price that was paid.

Hi Murad With all due respect I contacted you on each occasion to access the property to attend to the swimming pool. Your unit is a completely separate house and as such I do not have unfettered access. The description of the property clearly highlights no parties or loud music. You threw a birthday party and on most afternoons/evenings there were in excess of 10-12 people playing loud music and excessive alchohol. Properties in Camps Bay are closely situated to one another and I need to respect my neighbours in running this venture. This was further highlighted on the day of your arrival. Please take more care in reading the house rules before booking a property on Airbnb. Regards Ross

Diese Unterkunft ist absolut mega! Wir haben uns so was von wohl und sicher gefühlt, wie es in Camps Bay nur geht. Colleen und Stan haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht und uns in allen Dingen unterstützt. Der Blick von der riesigen Dachterrasse hat sich in unseren Kopf eingebrannt. Die Küche war komplett mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Der Pool war schön erfrischend und auch an technischen Equipment, war alles vorhanden. Diese Unterkunft würden wir unseren besten Freunden und der Familie wärmstens empfehlen ohne Wenn und Aber!

Ross, Stan and Colleen were very helpful and attentive during our stay. Despite there being load shedding at the time they kept us up to date on how to know when to expect power outages.
The apartment was secure, very clean and stylish. The top balcony had some lovely sunset views and Colleen and Stan were great at doing daily cleans and even our laundry.
They were all so friendly and we’d look forward to booking with them again if we’ve got the tight number of guests next time we visit.

Ross’ place is fab! We were on a family holiday with our young son and our parents. The house provided us with the perfect space to spend time together and enough space that we were able to have peace and quiet if needed! The pool and patio area are perfect for a relaxed day and BBQ, whilst the roof terrace is a real sun trap with beautiful views of the sea & mountains. The location is great too, only a 5min walk from Camps Bay (although there is a hill in the middle which was a workout with the pram but absolutely doable!) and not far from the V&A etc. by car. Ross was a great host, really accommodating and always available on the phone, he was always quick to sort anything out to make our stay better or check on us when we accidentally set off the alarm (twice!). Stan & Colleen welcomed us to the house and looked after us exceptionally in person too. We would definitely recommend staying here, great location, modern and comfortable, lovely people and safe/secure. Thanks for a great stay!

Die Unterkunft war perfekt! Alles hat prima geklappt und sieht aus wie in der Beschreibung und die Lage des Hauses ist der Hammer! Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse zum Meer und auf der Rückseite zum Tafelberg ist beeindruckend ..Wir haben uns rundum sicher gefühlt und konnten auch zu Fuß zum Strand /Promenade gehen! Es war für alles gesorgt (Beach Handtücher, Beach-Stühle etc ) toll und Ross war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit - Gerne kommen wir wieder !!!

Appreciated the quick and friendly communication ahead of our arrival and throughout our stay. Ross arranged for Stan to meet us for check in - Stan was there on time to meet us and was helpful in showing us around.
The place had great amenities including the pool, rooftop deck with great views of Camps Bay, 12 apostles, Table Mountain and Lion's head. Top notch decor and security system were much appreciated.
Quick walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants.
I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The perfect Cape Town location! This place did not disappoint this family of 5. The views of the 12 Apostles, Lions Head and Camps Bay make it an absolutely brilliant spot that is classy and spacious. We enjoyed picture perfect sundowners from the deck and loved waking up to the views from every window. A very safe and secure feeling place. It is an easy walk from the beach or jog into Clifton and Sea Point. The apartment was serviced daily which was luxury! We had a great week and would love to come back!

Ross' place is located perfectly, in a quiet road, very close to all Camps Bay has to offer. The house is spacious and in general offers the comfort one would expect from a listing at this price range.
We did not like everything unfortunately and would not book this house again.
We were there in a warm period and then the first floor underneath the flat roof gets really warm to hot. We could not sleep without airconditionings running, which is not as comfortable as one would like.
The house had all sorts of peculiar elements which started to bother us slightly. The terrace is next to a strip of nature with easy access for burglars, so we did not feel completely secure. The one bathroom was really smelly, the water pressure quite low, the neighbours dogs were active barking, the synthetic pillows and duvets started to get uncomfortable, etc. Although advertised with ocean views, you really need to make an effort to see the ocean, actually the house is at the backside of the apartment block facing the slope of the hill...
The manager Stan really made an effort to make our stay comfortable and went out of his way to ensure we got a second key to lock the house as we had separate appointments in the evening. Also the adorable Coleen was such a lovely person to meet.
Ross was communicative and available for communication during our stay. He just came across impersonal and not so much interested in his guests.

Hi Alexander I'm sorry that the house didnt quite live up to your expectations. In response to your security concerns it is mentioned that we are situated on the border of a small greenbelt, so this shouldn't have come as a surprise. I've owned the house for nearly 5 years and not had a single security incident. Neither have any of my neighbours. 90% of my guests are foreigners and this is the first time anyone has raised this concern. I sincerely hope that me enforcing the strict cancellation policy didnt taint this review. Kind rega.

This house/apartment/villa is everything and more. We felt so lush being just 3 of us staying with our little baby but with the main dining room big enough to fit 10+ at the dinner table you get the idea this place is made for entertaining! Spacious, clean and impeccably well decorated and appointed. The short stroll to the main strip of shops and beach was no more than 10 minutes, and the views from the second level terrace are just stunning.
Ross is a fantastic host, we booked well in advance for a wedding and had plenty of questions which Ross always replies quickly. I also had to have parcels delivered to the house ahead of arrival which they accommodated, along with an early check in after our 20hr flight..
Day to day the house is maintained by Stan and Colleen who are very helpful with local tips etc. We didn’t really tap into their other services like vineyard tours or babysitting but almost anything is possible and they’re always there to assist.
The perfect holiday package if you ask me!

Ross's home was by far the best AirBnb I have stayed at - and I am quite a fussy consumer. The pictures do not do this home justice - it is exquisite, with the the most beautiful artwork and furniture which is modern but still feels like home. The feel of the entire home was both lux but was still very warm and inviting at the same time. The views from the deck upstairs were the perfect setting for an intimate round of sun downers with loved ones.
The home was absolutely spotless and had all the amenities we needed. We experienced no issues with safety and we were made to feel secure at all times. The host was easy to contact and was very warm and helpful at all times.
If you're interested in staying here, I would fully recommend it, we did not want to leave!

We had a great week in Ross’ house. The location near Camps Bay’s beach, cafés and restaurants was perfect for us. It was also very easy to get to the hop on-hop off buses, Table mountain cable car and the coastal route to Cape Point and Point of Good Hope. We felt very secure in the house and well taken care of by Ross, Stan and Colleen. The views from the balcony overlooking the bay were beautiful. We could not make the most of the pool and outside areas because it was still only early spring, but we enjoyed the underfloor heating and nice blankets. Access to the washing machine is restricted, which we were not informed about, but we managed to organise that with the housekeeper. If we come back to Cape Town we would not hesitate to stay in Ross’ house again.

Wonderful place to stay when you’re in Cape Town. Very comfortable, lots of light and tastefully decorated. Close to the beach and restaurants in Camps Bay. We had a great time exploring the city, climbing Lions Head, visiting the wine estates and Robben Island. Stan and Coleen are professionals in hosting and housekeeping. If we'd plan another visit to Cape Town we would definitely like to come back.

This beautiful place is perfect for a getaway weekend. Even though it is so well situated and walking distance to Camps Bay beach and the shops, it is so beautiful that you don’t need to leave. Our experience at Ross’ place was the best we’ve had from an Airbnb. The place was spacious, sparkling clean and phenomenally located. We had every amenity we could have wanted and made great use of the fireplace.
It was cleaned daily and we had our laundry done.
Ross was available to our every need and responded promptly to any questions or comments.
The only sad part of our stay was having to leave. Thoroughly recommended!

This house is set in a perfect location tucked away from the hustle of the Main Street however an easy walk to restaurants. Great location , spacious rooms and all provisioned to a very good standard.
The pool, outdoor dining and roof terrace are all superb.
We had a wonderful stay and will stay here again - special call out to Colleen the house keeper who looked after us - imaging going home from a weeks holiday with next to no laundry - But more than that she was charming and accommodating - thank you.
I would highly recommend this as a vacation rental in camps bay for families and professional couples.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The Grange is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday. Camps Bay is a couple of minutes walk (!) away, and the view from the terrace is immaculate for sundowners. The house itself is spectacular. Each bedroom with en-suite bathroom, has a gorgeous view, as the house sits directly under Table Mountain, with the lush trees on the one side and the sea on the other, under the twelve apostles. It is ideal for three couples. Ross has been an excellent host, and great to communicate with. Stan, who works there, was kind to put up a baby-cot and safety fence around the stylish pool, as well as baby-proofing all electrical sockets. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it a thrill to do a braii. We are grateful for your generosity and would love to come back to this gem.

The Grange is a really nice furnished villa with nice views of table mountain and Camps Bay. We (a group of 6 people -> 3 couples) enjoyed our stay. All 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom and two of the bedrooms have acces to the terrace with above mentioned nice views. In the basement you have access to the other terrace with a nice pool.
When we arrived at The Grange, Stan was waiting for us. He showed us around and explained everything to us. We made use of the extra service of getting some clothes washed by his wife Collien and we really appreciated this service. Ross, the owner of the villa, was nice, too. He checked with us if we are ok and was reachable via whatsapp all the time. We had a blast and will definetely come back.

Ross was a nice host with a timely response time for messages and concerns during our stay.
Stan was very helpful as well.
It is a fairly nice property with an amazing roof, but if I ever returned to camps bay I would not stay there again.
It’s a hefty walk up and down hill about 15 minutes to get to the town center where restaurants and shops and the beach are.
We had issues with the bathroom, bedroom, some pest control, and pool area.
The bathroom shower tiles were gross and covered with mold and mildew, the bedroom shower curtains were filthy, and the pool was covered in so many dead bugs and debris that we couldn’t even swim in it.
There is no AC downstairs and so when we opened the sliding glass door to let fresh air in, two ant infestations started making their way into the unit.
We contacted the host who sent Stan to spray the next day. I understand that this is a beach and nature area, but, there were several holes in the door frame and deck area where the ants were infiltrating and this is something that I feel any host should remedy prior to any guests, versus blaming it on the nature of the area.
We pay a lot of money to stay in these villas, and so I expect that we would not have these issues.

Katie in response to your review I would just like to take this opportunity to clarify a couple of things. Most people booking in Camps Bay are familiar with the fact that the Atlantic Seaboard is built on the side of a mountain and as such unless your property is located on the beach any walk is likely to have an incline. This has never been an issue for the previous 111 guests that have stayed at The Grange. Your ascertains around the bathrooms are completely false and overstated. The house is serviced daily and at no point was any of this raised to me or any of the other staff during your stay. Similarly the pool is cleaned regularly. If strong winds are experienced, as the Cape is well known for, you will likely get some debris in the pool as we are located on a very pretty green belt with lots of trees. I will apologize regarding the curtains in bedroom 3. These had some water damage over December due to the doors being left open. All attempts to clean them failed and since they are non-standard drops I have had to have new curtains commissioned. Due to most businesses only opening on the 14th January, these will only be ready to be installed around the middle of February. Unfortunately this is Africa and in the height of summer insects are prevalent. Again this is the first time I have had such a complaint. Screen doors are not something seen very much this side of the Limpopo. Further north of South Africa, and mostly in malaria areas, these types of screen doors are more prevalent. Malaria is obviously not a concern for most living or visiting Cape Town, and neither for that matter are a couple of tiny ants. To call a couple of ants an 'infestation' is somewhat melodramatic. Just to back up my response Airbnb reviewed the property in early December and will be upgrading the listing to Airbnb Plus later in February, post the photo shoot. If they shared even the slightest of your concerns this would have been pointed out. That all said the other 111 reviews tell a completely different story to that painted above. This is something I take a lot of pride in, and hope others reading this will take your review for what it is.

We loved staying at The Grange. The location was perfect, only a 5 minute walk from the beach and restaurants in Camps Bay. We loved the view of Lion’s Head right outside our bedroom window and the other bedrooms opened out onto the lovely, spacious deck - with beautiful views of the ocean and the beach below. Our family stayed here during the wedding week for our son and the spacious house was perfect for an expanding number of folks congregating here for events. We appreciated having the availability of Stan to arrange transportation for us to/from the airport; and he would have been available during the week if we had needed him. We also appreciated the services of Colleen, whose pleasant nature added a smile to our day as she kept the house clean and tidy. Ross was always available for questions about where to find groceries and wine, as well as handling a glitch in the home security system. Coffee and breakfast were wonderful on the patio and we made good use of the charcoal grill for a couple of dinners. Look no further if you need a welcoming home in a wonderful location for your stay in Cape Town!

This was an amazing stay. The house was so modern and high quality that you genuinely were blown away the moment you walked through the door. On top of that Stan met us at the house with a roaring fire burning away in the spectacular sitting area and then told us everything we could want to know about the house. Lots of space and different areas to sit and relax.
Outside stoep is perfect for breakfast and sundowners.
Fire place and comfortable lounge gave us no reason to go out for treats.
Location is magic... Campsbay beach is around the corner with a great choice of restaurants and bars.

I would highly recommend staying here! We were 6 friends and had a wonderful time. We always felt safe and taken care of. Ross gave us fast and great help when we needed it, and Stan was a great driver. The house was clean and had all the fascilities we could wish for, a fantastic view and a lot of space for us, both indoor and outdoor. Just the perfect getaway in Cape Town.

The Grange is a beautiful, well appointed villa set just a 5 minute walk from the seafront of Camp's Bay with all its restaurants, bars and shops. As well as three large bedrooms and three bathrooms (2 of which are en-suite) it has two large seating/reception areas, a large dining area and a fully equipped, modern kitchen. Split over two levels it also boasts a downstairs outdoor patio area, complete with a further dining table and swimming pool together with a very spacious roof terrace with sun loungers which offers stunning views of both the Bay and Table Top Mountain. It is maintained and kept spotlessly clean by Stan and Colette who comes in daily to do all the housework and any washing required. Together with its close proximity to the beach it is also ideally placed as a base from which to explore the whole of Cape Peninsular.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was during the South African winter and very much hope to return for another visit soon. All in all, we couldn't recommend The Grange highly enough.

Once you get sort out the security doors you walk into a huge beautiful 3 bedroom townhouse. Beds and pillows are so comfy. Kitchen is so well stocked even with milk and coffee pods. Loads of room for 5 single females. Would definitely recommend plus location is great.

The Grange is an amazing house in a superb location! Would definitely stay again!
We visited in March and had the most amazing time.
Ross was so helpful in the lead up to our stay with all our questions and needs for our 9 month old. We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived and the house was great for our 9 month old too.
The bedrooms, bathrooms and all areas of the house are to an excellent standard. The house is large and fresh and in a perfect, quiet location only 10 min walk to the beach (slightly up hill).
We hired a car and could park it securely at the house.
Camps bay is a fantastic area which I could not recommend highly enough! The restaurants, bars along the beach are brilliant and the quality of food is outstanding.
The views from the Grange are stunning - the sundowner deck off two of the bedrooms overlooks the 12 apostles and the beach. Really special.
The grange also has housekeepers who are both fantastic looking after us the whole time and made our stay even more amazing.
Loved our stay and if we are lucky enough to go to Cape Town again would definitely stay at The Grange again.

The Grange is a wonderful and lovely place with an amazing view ( 12 Apostles + sea) and an excellent central location.
We felt very comfortable, welcome and secure especially due to Colleen and Stan‘s services.
The house was unexpectedly superclean, the laundry service perfect and Stan was there immediately and replied instantly whenever we needed his help. We loved having them around.
Ross, the host, also was there for us and made sure all the time that we had a perfect stay.
All in all we could simply relax at the end of our trip without feeling like strangers.

Ross' place is a spacious, modern home tucked away on a dead end street in Camps Bay, which is a small, upscale residential area about a 10-minute drive from the central part of Cape Town. Ross, I understand, lives away and Stan and his wife run the day-to-day operations of the vacation rental. Stan is a bit of an entrepreneur, and we used his driving services on a few days of our stay which was handy. Note that the home lists as having washer/dryer but that these are intended to be used by the housekeeper only. She will wash whatever you put out in the morning, which in some ways is convenient but in other ways can be inconvenient.
The house could accommodate 6 comfortably but we were a party of 4 and used only two of the three bedrooms. The beds were comfortable with decent linen quality. The shower we used (main bedroom) was nice. Note that this room is of an open concept that has no door/wall separating the bath from the bed area. I generally don't like these setups but this one was OK given the generous dimensions of the suite and the fact that there are no direct sight lines between the two areas.
There were some condition issues with the house during our stay (doors not shutting, for example) but nothing we couldn't deal with. The neighborhood was dead quiet overnight but dogs at a neighboring house seem to have 6 am voracious barking routine. Morning sunlight isn't well-curtailed in the main bedroom and I was glad I saved my Delta Airlines complimentary eye mask.
We spent 5 nights and overall were happy with the accommodations. It was our first visit to Cape Town and Ross' place, like most Airbnb's, made you feel like a local. Because the weather was cold during most of our stay we didn't get to do some of our intended activities (beach, Robben Island) and probably 4 nights would have been a better choice for us were we to do it again.

Hi Rebbi and Larry Thanks for the thorough review. I would just like the opportunity to clarify some of the issues you have raised. 1. Reason for preferring guests not to make use of the washing machine is that it substantially reduces the risk of damage. This is not only a cost issue but also ensures the smooth running of the house. We have a very high occupancy rate which limits the downtime to remediate issues such as broken appliances. As discussed over the phone you were more than welcome to use it should it be an emergency, but my preference is for Stan to operate and provide the service. 2. You are correct in stating the open plan of the bathroom. It would be good to note that the toilet is however private. 3. Admittedly there is a lot of glass in the house and this maximizes the view of Lions Head. The bedroom has block out lining on the curtains but do agree that the small angular windows don' t have curtaining. This would be difficult to do due to the high ceilings, but to block it out would obstruct the view. 4. I like to think that I am always contactable and in the instance of the barking dogs, had you notified me of the problem I would have gladly attempted to address it. This is the first time I have had the issue raised and as I have a good working relationship with the neighbors, this could have been easily addressed. Beautiful, comfortable beach home with great views and short walk to Camps Bay beaches, restaurants. We were a group of 6 adults and found the accommodations extremely comfortable - great beds and towels, nice amenities and very clean. Stan the housekeeper also provided airport service which was nice for women traveling alone for first visit to S. Africa. We ate in Camps Bay twice - great - and easily drove to Capetown (10-15 min) for other great restaurants. This is a great home for a base camp to enjoy all activities in and around Capetown. Ross put us in touch with Richard Denny who runs tours through CapeAbility - excellent personalized wine tour with door to door service not to be missed!

A lot of times you read reviews and still find yourself apprehensive. But I can say the reviews are most true. Ross's place is everything and more. The views from the bedrooms are amazing the neighborhood is quiet and serene. Ross and Stan are efficient in every way. Accommodation were great. It was our first time to South Africa and a special occasion for my Sister's Birthday and it was SPECTACULAR. Stan is the Man. He made great suggestion for shopping and sites and dinning and awesome views of the beaches. We were able to take priceless pictures. Stan and his wife are great host. If you are new to South Africa. I would highly recommend that you avail yourself to Stan services prior to arrival to insure a great trip. Ross was most patient with me. And I Thank him most deeply. I was consistently concerned about if everything was going to be as stated. It was.

The Grange is an amazing place to visit. The location and apt/house is impeccable. I hired Stan for my stay while there to escort me to and from all sites/shopping/skydiving/Cape of Good Hope/Resturants and I couldn't have been more grateful to his help. He kept the house at its best and really catered to checking me in and out. I would hands down recommend this place and stan to anyone who is looking to travel to CT

Ross and Stan were both great; communication and check-in/check-out were both impeccable, and they both made sure we had everything we needed.
The house was located superbly, a short walk from the Camps Bay beach with a great view of the ocean from the second floor. Cape Town was pretty cold during our stay, and we loved having the fire place to use.
The house seemed to have some problems with piping (toilets not flushing properly etc) but these issues were always resolved quickly. I am sure the unit will get better and better as time goes!

We had a fantastic time at Ross' condo. The place is modern, well equipped, spacious and nicely decorated. Camps Bay beach, as well as the shops and restaurants, are all an easy walk away. We really enjoyed hiking up Lion's Head. The trail head is about a 10-min drive away. The Botanical Gardens are beautiful and are about a 25 mins drive from the condo.
Ross was an attentive host and gave us good tips. Stan was super helpful and accomodating. We definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return!

We stayed at Ross's place for four nights during our visit to Capetown. The space is just as it is shown in the pictures - it was very clean, the rooms were really large and the views were beautiful. The neighborhood was great also. We went for a hike in the Glen which is just outside the doorsteps. We also had a few meals near the beachfront, also steps away. The food was fantastic! Stan was very helpful during our stay and Ross's friend Richard Denny provided us with two wonderful day long tours of the Cape Town area. All in all a perfect stay!

Ross' house is absolutely amazing. I would encourage everyone to stay here if possible. The views are even more stunning in person than they are in these pictures. The Grange is a beautiful apartment in a matchingly beautiful and convenient setting. From the private roof terrace and deck to the front are views to the sea at Camps Bay and to the sides and rear there is a stunning backdrop at the foot of Lions Head and the Twelve Apostles.
A lot of thought has obviously gone into providing all the modcons and the apartment is light and airy with large bedrooms and luxury standard bathrooms. The living space and kitchen are open plan and there is a poolside veranda with table and chairs beside the clean pool which is inviting when the heat picks up.
There is a a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor space on verandas and the terrace to sit out and enjoy the different aspects and still the apartment is only a 5-10 minute stroll into Camps Bay itself or up to The Bungalow restaurant. The apartment security is also very modern although the neighbourhood is suburban and unthreatening.
A drive either down Signal Hill or along the beach road takes you into Cape Town itself in 15 minutes (traffic dependent).
Stan the housekeeper is excellent- he has a quiet and efficient manner and he keeps the place spotless. Nothing is too much to ask and his service and manners are impeccable.
He also drove us into the winelands and to and from Cape Town and the beaches, on request, when we didn't want to drive ourselves. We found him to be a careful yet confident driver.
All of us no doubt are looking for a clean, safe, convenient and comfortable place to stay. Add a bit of luxury into the mix and you need look no further than The Grange hosted by Ross (and Stan).

There were some wifi problems but Ross was very fast in fixing it so we had internet access through our stay. The housekeeper Stan is also very helpful and takes good care of the place.

The Grange is a stunning house with breathtaking views. Waking up each morning to panoramic views of the mountains, ocean and trees is a memory I won't forget. The house had everything we could possibly need along with luxurious rooms and bathrooms and several terraces. Ross was a wonderful host, promptly answered all of our questions and even arranged our airport pickup via Tingo. Tingo then gave us an amazing peninsula tour...would highly recommend him too! Stan was there to meet us at check-in and get us oriented and was available for any of our questions. This is the best Airbnb experience I have ever had and I can't imagine this being topped! I hope to be back!

The Grange is a beautiful house located in a quiet road in Camps Bay. It is perfectly furnished, very clean and has a pool as well as two terraces. We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to be back when we visit Cape Town again.

We are a family of 4 on our first visit to South Africa. The villa is ideally situated with a short walk to all the amenities in Camps Bay and walking paths which lead to Table mountain. The villa is spacious and airy and has excellent views from the large rooftop balcony as well as from all the bedrooms. The villa is well kitted out and there is plenty of room for relaxing.
The housekeeper Stan met us on arrival and was invaluable throughout. He kept the villa spotless and went beyond the call of duty during our stay.
We were very reluctant to leave and will definitely stay again if we return to Cape Town in the future.

Hi Helen and Fred Thanks for the pointers. Just so that you are aware we will be repainting the house this winter. Unfortunately this is not something that is easy to carry out during the peak season. I would also like to apologize again for having to use my mobile WiFi modem. Unfortunately the DSL line was mistakenly cancelled by the state run Telkom, and they could not reinstate it. I have been waiting for the past 5 weeks to get them to install a new line. Parallel to this process I have initiated the installation of a fiber line which only recently became available in our area. This should be operational within the next 2 weeks. After a small hitch of arriving at the wrong address due to the apple app instant waze connection which was incorrect , we finally arrived at the right house after speaking to Ross. Stan was waiting for us and showed us around and explained the security setup. The house is huge, tastefully decorated and with magnificent views. Stan was very helpful with doing washing. The location is perfect for a visit to Cape Town and we enjoyed our short stay very much. Thank you Ross for hosting us.

What an amazing place to stay! Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. Ross was quick to accept our reservation and prompt with communication for our stay. Stan the house keeper met us at check in and explained everything about the house. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Tingo was our driver that Ross recommended. We booked him for all 3 days we were in Cape town. He took us on the peninsula tour, wine country tour, and shark cage diving expedition. He was absolutely amazing! Ross was an exceptional host. From the moment we booked his gorgeous home in a fantastic location near the beach in Camps Bay, and throughout our stay, he was attentive, caring and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience in Cape Town, which we did.

Only one wish, to have had more time at this beautiful house in Camps Bay. The house was pristine, so clean and easy to enjoy. Stan was very sweet and concerned about our happiness. The walk to the beach was 3-4 minutes and UBER was available to drive us as well as cabs. We will return when in South Africa as Ross made our stay a very happy one!

Stayed here for a couple of nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Ross, and the property staff were prompt, and attentive.

The property is close enough to the main strip of restaurants, and beach in Camps Bay. You can also walk/jog to nearby Clifton Beach. The property has plenty of space to relax, and enjoy the pool. With spacious rooms, and living areas.

Overall, an enjoyable stay, in Camps Bay.

Ross is extremely responsive, pretty chilled out and it was really no hassle to organise the key exchange, getting sorted in the flat any everything else really. The place is stunning, (photos don't do it justice as everyone says) with everything comprehensively explained in a guest guide to the flat. The Camps Bay Retreat literally 50 yards over the road is brilliant for lunch and spa treatments too - my fiancee had an amazing birthday massage/package there which kicked things off in the right way. Walking to Clifton 4th beach is 10 minutes, Camps Bay is 10 minutes and so easy to hop over the hill to City Bowl. One of the best villas I've ever rented, and for the price it's unbeatable for a small party of friends.

Just loved this place! Ross was very helpful and communicative all the way through which gave us confidence. We only had 3 nights here at the end of a 2 week South Africa tour and would love to have stayed longer. Camps Bay area is great for beaches and night life. So many good restaurants to choose from and just a quick stroll down the hill. The place was amazing, so much room and so artistically designed. Very clever placement of the pool and outside dining area to protect it from those traditional winds. Housekeeping was an added perk! We want to return next year!

Excellent communication about the accommodation and description very accurate. Superb apartment in very good location which meant when all the traffic was moving very slowly along the beach road we just walked past it as access was so close. We were delayed arriving due to flight delays and was met at nearly midnight by a lovely man to show us round. Made us feel welcome and not at all a problem. Would not hesitate to recommend this flat which also has the added benefit of secure parking.

We were extremely happy with the accomodation and its ambience. Everything was clean and well managed. The house was managed by a housing firm and everything was well prepared from check-in to check-out. Ross was available for questions at any time. All in all a very sound stay.

If you have a chance to get this property, you will want to grab it fast. A great location--I'm soooo glad we were not right on the water. Most places, that would seem more desirable. But this Camps Bay location allows you to enjoy the view, but be up and away from the craziness and noise that is down at the main road.

As other reviewers have said, the property is even nicer in person than it is in the photos. We stayed here with our two teenaged girls. You should've seen their eyes pop out when we walked in the door. Even bigger reaction than when that elephant was charging us on safari just the day before.

This property could easily host 3 couples. It is a vacation unto itself.

One little thing--make sure you clarify the address. You want to put only the street address into GPS or Uber. The way we were sent the address took us to a home around the block also called, "The Grange." We obviously were not the first to make this mistake, as a very angry resident named, "Klaus" who lives across the street made sure to come out and read us the riot act. Once we started using just the street address, all worked well for everything from tour guides to pizza delivery.

We had a wonderful time at The Grange. The house is very well located, within easily walkable distance to Camps Bay restaurants, shops and beach. The house was exactly as expected and as shown in the pictures (maybe even bigger) and all bedrooms are spacious and have a beautiful view. The open kitchen and the two lounge areas are great and we also had nice breakfasts on the terrace, enjoying the morning sun being surrounded by a beautiful nature.
I would highly recommend staying at The Grange when visiting Cape Town and its surroundings. Ross was also very prompt in his answers when we contacted him and everything was well organised as we arrived and when we left.

The agent Ross uses was very accommodating and polite - he worked around our times of arrival and departure. The neighbourhood is a great location - close enough to all the goings on in Camps Bay but far enough away to have the peace and quiet of the surrounding forests.
