Aside from the beautiful view, this property did not meet expectations and was certainly not worth our while.

Upon arrival, we quickly noticed the apartment had not been properly prepped for our stay. The air smelled very stale as though the windows hadn’t been opened in weeks. The bathroom drawers and closets smelled even worse.

There were clothes left in the dryer, perhaps from previous guests or the housekeeper, and the pool had not been cleaned (and never was until the afternoon prior to our morning checkout).

But the biggest issue of all was electricity related, which should have been easily tested and identified as part of a regular routine check prior to arrival. Within an hour of one air conditioning unit being on, the entire apartment short circuited and was without power for 15 hours.

The rental company treated this without any sense of urgency, making us wait around for hours for them to come take a look. This was just the beginning of a number of electricians who would be in and out over the next several days, never uncovering the root of the problem as we later learned the short circuiting still occurred without any air conditioning units on.

Additionally, each time the power went out due to load shedding (which was up to three times per day) the next door neighbors very loud alarm would be triggered. This was extremely disruptive in the middle of the night, interrupting our sleep and more of nuisance during the day as there was no way of shutting it off and we just had to wait. This is something the rental company should have absolutely been aware of and flagged to us ahead of time.

In light of all these issues, you’d think the very least the rental company could do would be to proactively keep us informed with updates but it was quite the opposite.

I had to take charge of staying on top of them, asking repeatedly for updates multiple times each day many of which went unanswered. The lack of communication was appalling and disappointing to say the least.

To this day I have not heard back regarding multiple inquiries for a price adjustment to compensate us accordingly.

This negatively impacted every single day of our stay, and wasted so much of our precious time intended to enjoy Cape Town. It could have all been easily avoided had they just done their due diligence and been thorough.

We are very sorry your stay was less than exceptional. We will be in touch with you directly to resolve the issues you experienced. We always do thorough inspections of our properties before arrival to make sure they are up to the best standard before guests arrive. We did find out there was an electrical fault with two of the AC's which we then isolated, the other power-related issues were due to loadshedding and unfortunately out of our control.

The moment we walked into the apartment, it literally took our breath away!! It is very well situated a few minutes walk from the centre of camps bay with cafes and restaurants. The apartment is equipped to a very high standard. The views from the balcony are amazing, ideal to watch some amazing sunsets in an evening!! Our house keeper Anna was amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble and we really appreciated her coming every day to see us. Grant our nox contact was great too, always on hand for us if we had a question and he made the check in/out a very smooth process. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, it was an absolute pleasure to spend two glorious weeks in this amazing property.

The place was amazing - beautifully furnished - a proper home from home. The welcome pack was much appreciated and having a host meet us and see us out was great. Communication was also first class especially as I booked the place over a year before but Covid stopped us travelling.
Location could not have been better - easy walk to shops etc and you can self cater or eat out - both easy to do - we did a mixture of both.
Even the big screen TV where we watched some films via Netflix on the one rainy day we had made our stay perfect - on the flip side we could cuddle up in blankets on the terrace and watch the sun go down
This place is honestly a great find and I would highly recommend it

Our stay was exceptional. The apartment is so well kept. The small touches makes it feel so homely and it was perfect for our family. It is kid friendly and there is ample space for all 6 guests to live privately. The finishes are top class and the location is perfect for a walk to get supplies and coffee. The continental breakfast WOOLIES supplies in the kitchen was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! all hosts should learn from this. It made my meal planning so much easier and allowed us to really enjoy every moment. We will definitely be back!!

It´s a good place to be, location was amazing, the views stunning and the home was immaculate. Andre was helpful and charming answering any questions, the checking in process was fast and efficient, Besides the home being in a central location, the walks to the beach and back was great, with a plethora of great restaurants in easy reachable walking distance, I would highly recommend this place, we really enjoyed the stay and the housekeeping service lady was impeccable..

Although the weather wasn’t the best, we spent an amazing time at Andre’s apartment. We appreciated the fridge and cupboards being stocked. Moreover, the fact that a cleaning lady came every day to keep everything in order helped us to feel 100% on vacation. Would highly recommend!! :)

Beautiful home with ample sunlight! The host Brigid was super helpful and responded timely to all our questions. Short walk/run to beach, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy and groceries. The photos are accurate. Continental breakfast items provided (eggs, milk, coffee, tea, bread, butter & fruit).

What a beautiful place. The arrangements were really good and Brigid looked after us as the host. She even filled the flat with so many goodies for our first day.

We had some issues during our stay that were not resolved during our 8-night stay. We are now in negations with Air BnB and the owner.

The plunge pool was not usable due to poor water quality – it was heavily chlorinated and you were unable to see past two-inch water depth.
Previous tenants had also broken a panel of safety glass on the balcony. Management’s solution was to place the balcony furniture in front of the missing panel – greatly obscuring the otherwise spectacular view.

The property was kept clean and tidy by daily visit of maid but breakfast service provided was misleading given person required to prepare breakfast was not on property till very late morning and hesitant to prepare breakfast. Property is accurately represented by the images supplied.
Location was great – very safe area only 750m from Camps Bay restaurant strip.

Main disappointment was that issues could have been handled in a much better way considering the price bracket of this property.

Dear future guest - please take this review with a pinch of salt and read it with the otherwise 5 star reviews on this property. This is a review left by a guest who experienced two minor issues (one which did not affect the stay at all and one it seems they caused themselves), declined offers of refund during their stay and then requested a 50% refund after 8 nights. The glass panel was broken on the day of checkin and has subsequently been replaced (as explained at checkin, it takes 7 working days to manufacture). The pool was milky during the stay when we have never previously had any issues. We determined that Akshay had been switching off the pool pump and this is what caused the issue. Please note that - as advertised - this is a self-catering apartment. We provide a complimentary continental breakfast consisting of fruits, yoghurt and toast as well as a complimentary daily servicing. The cleaning lady is happy to set the table and serve the breakfast - though there is no real preparation involved..

This apartment is beautiful and spacious. The amenities are top notch as well. The pool is more of a dipping pool than a swimming pool, but that was expected. We had 3 young kids with us and the apartment was surprisingly child-friendly and child proof. The location is in walking distance to Camps Bay beach and main strip (at least during the day). The management company that manages the apartment was very helpful and responsive, which makes traveling to a new place, even easier. We would highly recommend staying here!
