ILIWA was the ideal base for my first visit to Cape Town at 75 to visit my kids. I felt perfectly safe wandering the nearby Sea Point shops and could reach the Signal Hill paths in just five minutes for a gentle hike. After an active morning, it was wonderful to pop down to the beaches—or simply relax with a cup of tea in the tranquil garden. Comfortable, convenient, and highly recommended for senior travelers

ILIWA turned out to be the rare Cape Town stay that’s steps from Clifton and Sea Point yet completely peaceful. The rooms are beautifully done—clean lines, timber accents, soft linen the interieur is just another level—without feeling over-styled. I was genuinely surprised to find the terrace sheltered from the usual Atlantic winds that we experienced in Camps Bay, and we never heard a hint of traffic. Even with bars and the V&A close by, I slept straight through the night. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to be back.

When I travel, I need reliable Wi-Fi and a peaceful vibe, but I wanted Cape Town’s energy on tap—ILIWA nailed it. Mornings started with a jog along the Atlantic, afternoons in a chic workspace flooded with natural light, and evenings sampling Sea Point eateries two blocks away. The neighbourhood felt totally walkable and safe, so quick coffee breaks were guilt-free. Not to mention how close we were to beaches and anything we needed. I left inspired and surprisingly productive

Honestly the best location I ever stayed at, when in Cape Town. The place just has everything we desired for: 5 Star Hotel level service, while feeling right at home. We have never experience a place with such an amazing design. Perfect for hangouts, NO WIND, and an amazing garden. I love the beaches but also like to feel like I am in town. ILIWA is just the perfect mix, its situated in a residential and calm street but only minutes from the hustle and bustle of buzzing Seapoint which is getting better and better with its restaurants and shops. Only a walk from Beaches too and so close to Clifton. We absolutely loved it and look forward to be back

We have been travelling with our family and this house was just the perfect spot. We could walk down to the promenade without having to drive all the time. We could really use the garden, the fire pit and the braai. All while having amazing mountain views. Check in went super smooth and Nandi, who did the housekeeping was a real angel with us and the kids. What we liked the most, was the space, we could use the two bedrooms in the ground floor, so we didn't have to worry about the stairs and the kids at all. Kitchen was so spacious and all amneties were there. We liked a lot that the garden offers cool shade during the hot summer months, which was hard to find. Also we didn't experience any wind like in other areas of Cape Town, which can be quite tough. Anytime again.

I have been travelling to Cape Town for many years and was struggling to find the perfect spot for leisure, work but also to share with family and friends. Kira & Phil created an amazing space. It's rare that you have both: Mountain and Sea Views, while having an amazing ambience. This Villa is just insane. So much space and everything is designed to perfection. You can hang out and spend time in so many different areas of this house. Communication and housekeeping was just perfect with Nox. All sparkling clean and well maintained, really on 5 Star Hotel Level. But what we liked the most was the area: Fresnaye is just so many levels up compared to Camps Bay or other areas in CT --> There is no wind like ever, it is walkable to amazing bars and restaurants (no Tourist Traps), and you are so close to town AND the beaches at the same time. Now that I know this I won't want to stay anywhere else. I felt super safe the whole time and street security in the evening made me feel extra comfortable. I would love to stay again really soon.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Cape Town! The property is incredibly modern with a stunning interior that made us feel right at home. The cozy garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful retreat with no wind, which was a perfect escape, especially compared to the always windy Camps Bay. The location in the Fresnaye/Sea Point area is fantastic – it’s very walkable, and you can easily explore the surrounding neighborhood. Unlike Camps Bay, which can feel less safe, this area is peaceful and offers a great sense of security. Plus, it’s surrounded by only the best restaurants, ensuring that you’re never short of delicious dining options. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience in Cape Town!

Perfect getaway house in prime location, and such a stylish interior - very cool feeling to get to spend our holiday in such a nice equipped house! Garden invites for amazing morning coffee by the pool and chilled Braai nights, must do! Bonus point for amazing views on Lion's head, esp. during sunset when hikers go downhill with their head lamps on

The villa was the absolute highlight of my unforgettable two-week vacation in Cape Town! From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was pure comfort and relaxation. What a beautiful house, but before we get to the house. From the time I booked, the host was very proactive and very responsive. I’ve never dealt with such professional Airbnb host, 5star rating on the professionalism, we were accommodated for an early check in and out. The house! What a stunning house in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. Everything was exactly like the pictures if not better. The well thought out kitchen, the sitting area, the bedrooms. We loved every aspect of the house, I’m obsessed with beautiful bathrooms, and my goodness. Absolutely gorgeous. This is a house I’d go back to anytime. My boys didn’t want to leave because they felt right at home. Thanks to Hanna and Lemo for their professionalism and kindness. This is a must see house believe me! Ohh the fact that they had some meds in the cupboard like grandpa, was top tier.
