Sadly, although we enjoyed a great holiday in Camps Bay, the most disappointing part of the entire experience was the service associated with the rental apartment. Our check in was efficient but brief. Within a couple of days we realised the TV didn’t allow us to access streaming channels such as Netflix, Prime, Paramount etc. It took a week for someone to eventually sort it out, but at the expense of the regular terrestrial channels which stopped working. The apartment had an issue with cockroaches. It took 2 days for someone from housekeeping to be asked to spray the room. The safe in the room was faulty and was replaced temporarily with a second faulty safe, before eventually we were left one that did work. It took a week to sort that out. I sent several messages to Nox which received standard AI replies assuring me one of your operatives would be in touch. They never arrived as promised. I called and spoke to Sarah ( at your “ customer service “ desk ) who said someone would be with us within the hour. They never arrived. I could go on, but I won’t. One of your team had the decency to try to get the TV to work, and I sent him a long chain of What’s App messages with Nox, over several days. He passed them to his Manager who asked for my number to call me personally. Needless to say - he never called. I explained at length to the only Nox representative we ever dealt with that we were really disappointed with the service at the apartment. It spoiled our overall experience and was very frustrating. The apartment still has a cockroach issue and you will find they are coming from behind the toilet ( which incidentally leaks around the base as it hasn’t been sealed properly). In summary, the apartment was fine and in a good location, but we have never encountered such shabby and second rate service anywhere else we have stayed.

Cleaning stuff on Sunday would be a great initiative & also the check out time can at least be an hour later (11:00) or a late checkout fee can be imposed.

Die Unterkunft ist neu und stylisch eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Check In war leider etwas problematisch, da wir vorab gefragt hatten, ob wir unsere Koffer unterstellen könnten. Wir waren zur vereinbarten Uhrzeit am Apartment, aber der Gastgeber leider nicht. Der Gastgeber reagierte auch die nächsten Stunden nicht auf zahlreiche Nachrichten und Anrufe. Irgendwann meldeten sie sich dann zurück und haben uns die Tür geöffnet. Sehr schlechter Service, vorallem weil sie sonst immer innerhalb weniger Minuten auf Nachrichten reagiert haben. Insgesamt ist das Apartment sehr schön auch die Lage ist gut. Man sollte aber wissen, dass die Wohnung direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt - den Straßenlärm hört man die ganze Zeit… Insgesamt aber zu empfehlen.
