Outside, seating for two on a private patio invites calm morning coffees. With Table Mountain Cableway a short drive away and the Camps Bay promenade less than 5 minutes away, The Cove offers a base to explore Cape Town’s scenery and coastal charm. An alarm system provides peace of mind.

The unit is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The ocean view is lovely, although the window is quite small, so you need to be standing to fully enjoy it. The area is peaceful, quiet, and very private, which made for a relaxing stay. One thing to note is that the cleaning service doesn’t seem to follow a set schedule and may arrive at random times, which occasionally disrupted our rest. That said, they are very efficient and work quickly. The DSTv streaming is unpredictable and unreliable. At peak hours (EPL or Rugby games), you reach the maximum streaming limit of users and cannot connect. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet mit täglichem Reinigungsservice zwischen 10-15 Uhr, das war schön, man hat immer frische Handtücher und Kaffeekapseln bekommen. Das Apartment liegt in Bakoven und ist in einer ruhigen Lage, zu Fuß kann man hier allerdings nichts erreichen, dass wussten wir aber schon vorher. Leider ist bei uns mehrmals die Alarmanlage angegangen, obwohl wir es mehrmals an Nox gemeldet haben, wurde sich leider nicht darum gekümmert. Die Alarmanlage mach jedoch lediglich Lärm, löst nicht das Eintreffen eines Sicherheitsdiensts aus, den man vermuten wurde, wenn man die große Info eines Sicherheitsdiensts an der Hauswand liest. Durch die Südlage wird es an besonders warmen Tagen sehr heiß im Apartment, sodass auch der Ventilator und offene Fenster nichts nutzten. Leider hatten wir bei der Buchung übersehen, das hier keine AirCon installiert ist, dies sollte man, falls man einen Sommerurlaub plant, wissen, denn diese hätten wir tatsächlich gebraucht.

Tolles kleines Appartement in Bakoven mit einem tollen Blick über Camps Bay. Wir haben hier 5 Nächte geschlafen. Ausstattung super. Gemütliches Bett und Kissen. Ruhige und sichere Umgebung. Mit dem Uber ist man schnell überall, fußläufig ist nicht viel erreichbar. Tägliche Reinigung und mehrfaches Wechseln der Handtücher. Wäscheservice optional. Insgesamt: super Preis Leistungsverhältnis und eine tolle Unterkunft für einen Urlaub in Kapstadt.
