Dance Festival at the Baxter Theatre

Shakespeare in Love at the Fugard theatre

Shakespear-In-LoveThe Fugard is one of many of the Capes incredible theatres. From 10 October to 25 November this play will be showing. With an award winning cast and team, don't miss out and book your seats here. Tickets range from R130-R320.

International Buskers' Festival

Buskers festival 2017Taking place at the V&A Waterfront on the 5th - 8th this is a festival you won't want to miss. With so much amazing local talent as well as some international acts in on place. Penguin Festival

PenguinsThis great annual festival helps to raise funds and awareness for the endangered African Penguin. Additionally, thereis live music, games, food and drinks and some exhibitions to be checked out. The festival takes place on the 8th and tickets cost R100. Gun Run

Gun Run 2017This year is the 25th anniversary of this increasingly popular run. Entries have unfortunately closed for this year but go along and support on the 8th. Kite festival Muizenberg

Flying KiteThis year the Kite festival is taking place on Muizenberg beach on 28 and 29 October. It is hosted by Cape Mental Health and all profits will go towards helping out people with mental health disabilities in disadvantaged areas. Rocking the Daisies

Rocking the daisies 2017This amazingmusic festival is taking place on the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling from the 5th to the 8th. Unfortunately, tickets have sold out but if you visit their website you can go on the waiting list or try win a ticket. There are so many great international and local acts to be seen. It's a great weekend of fun!

Season of Sauvignon

Season of SauvignonThe Dubanville Wine Valley brings you this festival on the 28th and 29th. There is lots of great wine to be drunk and activities for the kids.

South African Horror Fest

Horror Fest 2017As Halloween is around the corner, what better way to celebrate it than watching a terrifying movie at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town. It's taking place 26 October to 3 November and there is a great line up of movies. To find out more visit the site here.

Open Streets Main Road

Open Streets main roadThe next event on this great initiative is taking place on the 1st between Main Road Observatory and the CBD. A 5km stretch of road will be closed to cars so people canwalk, skate, cycle etc freely through the streets.
