Die Unterkunft war luxuriös ausgestattet, sehr sauber mit sehr bequemen Betten und einer tollen Aussicht. Die Gegend ist sehr sicher, so dass man problemlos spazieren gehen kann. Die Waterfront mit tollen Lokalen ist 15 min entfernt, aber auch in der Nähe gibt es nette Restaurants und Cafés. Stellplatz für das Auto ist innerhalb der Wohnanlage. Einen Balkon hat es nicht dafür kann die Fensterfront zum Wasser hin komplett geöffnet werden. Das Apartment wird täglich gereinigt und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern verlief reibungslos. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder dieses Apartment buchen!

This Airbnb was by far a favourite of ours. The views of the sea and mountains is so breathtaking and a great way to wake up/have breakfast or dinner. The place was clean and comfortable. It felt very safe, we walked to a few places as it’s right on the promenade where a lot of locals run and exercise throughout the day. Oranjezicht City Farm Market which is open Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday is only 7minutes walk from the apartment & has great food and is a good vibe! We will definitely stay here when we are back in Cape Town.

We are regular travellers and would rate this apartment as one of the nicest, best-located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the sea . The apt was also located a few steps to good restaurants and cafes. Très bien. Problème est qu’il n’y a rien dans un environnement direct, même pour prendre juste une boisson. Il faut prendre le taxi pour tout. Aussi non, pour les gens qui aiment le calme, c’est parfait. Petit problème par contre avec les stores. Difficile à manier et certains sont cassés.

Für einen ersten Besuch in Kapstadt eignet sich die tolle Wohnung sehr. Man ist sowohl schnell bei den Orten an der Küste entlang als auch im Stadtzentrum. Der Ausblick aufs Meer und auf den Lionshead und Signalhill waren einmalig inklusive Sonnenuntergang. Die 180 Grad Fensterfront ist toll. Super ausgestattet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This was our second booking with Nox in that appartement. We loved it just as much as the first time! The place is immaculate, cozy, well located and furnished. The services were impeccable. We were informed in advance that there would be noise because of renovations taking place upstairs, which is appreciated and transparent.

The apartment is truly beautiful, and the views are amazing. Better than in the pictures. The location was excellent, it was no more than 15 minutes by Uber to get to all of the main spots in Cape Town and felt very safe. The smart TV with Netflix was the best!! A very relaxing and beautiful space, with a great kitchen and bathroom. We were not affected by load shedding at all either, due to back up generators.
There were some construction works at the apartment during the day which were noisy, but the host communicated us well ahead of our stay to warn us, and offered us alternative properties / offered us a discount on any days we experienced disruption. I asked for that discount for one of the days of our stay, and was promptly refunded the discount.
A cleaner comes every day, which seems unnecessary. If you are wanting to lounge around, just note the cleaner will be there each day (although it didn't bother us, as we were out most days and the cleaner was also lovely)!!

Die Unterkunft ist eigentlich wunderschön und sauber. Leider gab es dennoch Dinge die unseren Aufenthalt beeinträchtigt haben:
- täglich kommt eine Reinigungskraft in die Wohnung. Dies wollte wir gerne abbestellen, da wir uns unwohl damit fühlten eine fremde Person unsere Sachen aufräumen zu lassen. Außerdem kam sie immer um 10 Uhr morgens, weshalb wir gestresst davon waren die Wohnung dann verlassen zu müssen. Unsere Anfrage wurde dahingehend aber einfach ignoriert.
- es waren sehr laute Bauarbeiten im Haus. Die einen Aufenthalt tagsüber unmöglich machten. Wir meldeten dies und bekamen nach einer verspäteten Antwort 50 € Entschädigung für einen 5 Tägigen Aufenthalt
- Die Wegbeschreibung in der App ist fehlerhaft, sodass wir beim Check In lange das richtige Haus suchten
- leider haben wir ein teures und wichtiges Medizinisches Gerät in der Wohnung vergessen und den Gastgeber gebeten uns dies zuzuschicken. Wir wurden ignoriert.

The unit is very well situated with beautiful views of the ocean, Lions Head and Greenpoint Golf Course in the foreground. It is a beautiful and spacious apartment that was very clean and stocked with all the necessary amenities.
The agent is organised and punctual.
However, our stay was marred by the fact that there was no water in the building. The agent did communicate with us regarding this issue and did try to alleviate the issue by dropping off some bottled water, but we were unable to cook, clean dishes, wash clothes, or even take a shower. The water issue persisted for the entire duration of our stay.
Whilst we are aware that the water issue was not the fault of the owner or the agent, when the water did eventually return, we asked if we could extend our check out time by a mere hour or two in order to shower and prepare for our departure, which was abruptly declined, with clearly no regard to the difficult situation the lack of water had put us in.

The place is spectacular - stunningly appointed for guests and at the same time charmingly intimate. The sea view is good. The kitchen appliances and TVs (there are 2!) are superb, and the magic bathroom light was a delightful surprise. We are most grateful to our hosts for sharing such an outstanding place. We would love to stay there again, perhaps for longer next time. Will give it 5 stars once they work the kinks out of their admin, which was poorly coordinated between the international and local managing agent teams (yes, teams, not a single point of contact) and resulted in a *lot* of unnecessary and often conflicting messages from the multitude of contacts. For instance, if you book through Airbnb, you don't have to pay a security deposit - but the system pushed me for one anyway. The check-in and checkout processes had issues with over-eager/layers of comms. Other than the over-the-top admin, we absolutely loved the place and would recommend it heartily.

My wife and I loved our stay at this apartment and we would certainly return for another visit. Thank you to the Nox crew for setting everything up so beautifully.
We faced a bump in the road when our key broke during our visit. It took longer than we would have hoped to resolve this, especially since the apartment has one entrance and one set of keys. The team did manage to help us eventually, and we are grateful for that. I’m hoping a better contingency can be made for future guests.

This place is an absolute gem! Beautifully renovated with high end fittings and appliances and everything you could possibly need. Right on the beachfront with great sea views. Incredibly comfortable and well appointed. I could have spent the whole weekend in that crispy linen and comfy bed but I also cooked up a storm in the kitchen and went out and about in the city - you can walk anywhere from this location pretty much. The hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly and helpful. One of my best airbnb experiences and I have done loads of them over more than a decade! And a bonus to have a parking bay inside the complex. First class.

The flat is superbly located with stunning views to the sea and table mountain.
Very clean and modern with beautiful details.

The only thing to point out: It's definitely a couple's or single flat as there are no doors.
I was travelling with a friend and if you like some alone time, you still hear the other person when they are in the living room and you in the bedroom.

A great apartment which matched the pictures and listing. Appliances and contents were top notch and I will forsure be returning. Host was very responsive to any questions. The location was also perfect close to shops and restuarants. The only downside was the back up power which did not work and makes a noise when the power was out.

Had a fantastic stay at Moullie point in Cape Town. The apartment is furnished beautifully with top notch Smeg appliances and everything you need for self-catering, including a Nesspresso machine. Immediately felt at home and comfortable when we checked-in. Lovely apartment, very safe and secure, will most certainly be staying here again.

The only challenge was 'load-shedding'. Not having electricity for most of the day was a real challenge, especially with a toddler, the backup power does not last at all so be wary of this. Nothing will work including the internet if the power is out. A larger full back-up power system would mitigate this and improve the overall experience. Load-shedding in South Africa can put a real dampener on your experience.

Perfect location with views of both mountains and beach. Beautiful spacious apartment with all the conveniences. Lovely boardwalk and easy walk to V&A waterfront for eating and shopping. Do double check load sharing times so you plan to be out and about when electricity may be out. The Nox team was in constant communication with us about all details of our rental and the surrounding area making great recommendations. Would definitely recommend them for this location or others.

One of the absolute best AirBnB’s I’ve ever stayed in. Thoughtfully designed with every detail in kitchen, living room, bed room, bath tub. The views and windows are the best I’ve ever experienced around the world, with 180 degree views from Table Mountain and Lion’s Head on the West to the ocean in the east. The Sun sets right in the middle, making for a stunningly romantic evening. Would absolutely stay again.

Die Unterkunft ist der absolute Wahnsinn - können wir jedem nur sehr empfehlen.
Die Lage ist Ideal um Kapstadt zu erkunden. Fussläufig ist der Oranjezicht Market, die V & A Warerfront und einige sehr tolle Caffes und Restaurant schnell zu erreichen.
Die Seapoint Promenade direkt vor der Haustür lädt zu morgendlichem Joggen ein.
Die Aussicht aus der Wohnung auf das Meer und dem Lions Head sind traumhaft.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünschen kann. Besonders das Equipment in der Küche verleitet einem sehr einfach im Apartment zu kochen und die Aussicht zu genießen.
Es steht bei Wunsch ein Zimmerservice nach Vereinbarung zur Verfügen.

The accommodation was as described and perfectly located near the sea. Amenities in the apartment are modern. Worth a visit. A few niggles with construction guys guys in the building but that’s temporary and it’s a beautiful apartment.

What an amazing gem for a getaway, we wish we booked a longer stay! The apartment was simply amazing with all the amenities one could need. The sunroom was an amazing spot for an afternoon siesta with perfect views towards both the ocean and lions head! First things first, the place is gorgeous. So gorgeous, you really can’t imagine anyone offering better and will find yourself wishing your stay was longer. The service was delightful, quick responses and open to chat before and during the stay along for an extra level of peace of mind. Unparalleled! Stunning views of both the ocean and the mountains, incredible location! Walkable to nearly everything you need and the rest is no more than a 5 min drive away! Apartment was clean, well furnished and even equipped with basic cooking necessities (oil, salt, pepper, herbs). Excellent security as well, we felt very safe and secure. There was a small portable speaker for us to enjoy music with friends over dinner or listen to calming sounds in the literally perfect bathtub. The enclosed balcony was our absolute favourite part, with windows all the way around and above you, it feels like a dream. Most nights we left a window open to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the breeze, but were also able close them up and stay cozy on windy, rainy days. Don't even consider somewhere else if you're deciding between here and another place, this is it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Serenity, the apartment is absolutely beautiful, stunning decor and the views were amazing. Everything has been thought about here and everything you could want was on hand. Even a washing machine and tumble drier which came in super handy for us. The bed was massive and really comfy and the bathroom is huge with a lovely shower and big bath tub. The location of the property was ideal for us, having visited Cape Town a few times this by far was the best place we have stayed. It felt like a home away from home, some nights we decided to stay in and cook because we just loved being in the apartment so much (with those views it felt silly to go out!). We were also surprised to find we had a lovely lady called Gloria who would come and clean the apartment each day which was an added bonus. Thank you so much for a great stay!

This is an amazing apartment. So many details have been thought of including two tv’s in the lounge and bedroom. The massive windows which allow natural light and uninterrupted views of the ocean. The hosts are really amazing and did a great job in organizing some things for me before we checked in. I would definitely recommend a stay there and utilizing Nox rentals!

This place is gorgeous, but the management company charged me for dry cleaning the pillows and towels because they had some make up stains on them. I've never had this experience in any hotel or airbnb, especially such a pricey one. Be careful with the management of this place.

We have stayed in many places on the Atlantic Seaboard but without a doubt the stay at this Airbnb was our absolute favorite.
The apartment is filled with many classy, thoughtful finishes while still managing to remain warm and cozy.
The view from the apartment is really special and pictures do not do justice.

Amazing apartment, horrific covid experience with management company

This review oddly has nothing to do with the property. The property itself is actually perfect. Our issue is with the management company that runs it.

My whole family (including 5 month old baby) unfortunately tested positive for covid on the second day of our stay. This ruined our holiday, but our experience at this property made it much worse.

As soon as we found out, we let the management company know and asked them what we should do as per Airbnb’s recommendations. Their response, was to tell us that we would still be expected to check out on our last day, which was day 3 of our 10 day quarantine. This was because they had another booking the day we checked out. We were all positive and also symptomatic.

We were very concerned about this but managed to find somewhere else that would take us, however they could only accommodate at 4pm and our check out was at 10am. Obviously we couldn’t exactly go and have lunch somewhere to pass the time. By law we were supposed to be in quarantined isolation, but the management company insisted we left at 10am. They eventually offered us accommodation in some of their vacant properties, the only caveat was that the cost was at least 4-5 times more than what we were paying which was in no way possible. Getting covid is hardly winning the lottery.

After several stressful and upsetting calls and messages with the management company, eventually they offered to put us up for a few hours at another property until our new property was ready all we had to do was ‘contribute’ R500-R600 to the cleaning process which we thought was as reasonable as we were going to get, so agreed. When the details came through, it was too good to be true with a bill more than 5 times that sum. This would be considered by some as extortion, but we had no other choice so had to accept.

We then had to check out, carrying all of our luggage through the communal areas of the building while fully symptomatic while also trying to treat a baby with covid. We were as responsible as we could have been, but still had to use communal facilities on a very hot day whilst contagious with covid symptoms.

We then had to drive, again while fully symptomatic with a screaming baby in the car, endangering our own lives as well as others, so that the property was available for their next booking.

Airbnb offered very little support throughout this ordeal. Their actual policy (we only saw this late) is to cancel all upcoming bookings following a positive covid case at one of the properties. Neither Airbnb nor the management company enforced this. In fact I think it’s highly unethical to put guests into a property on the same day they had a confirmed positive cases. If this is how these properties behave, this may well be where we caught covid in the first place, as we have been very careful throughout our holiday and were surprised when we caught it.

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on holiday.

I don’t blame the property owners, but hope they see this and know what kind of management company they use. I also hope that whoever is in the property after us, goes to get themselves tested.
